What is Viniette?

Viniette is a private photo album for your family. You share photos, the people you invite can see them, and that’s it. No feeds, no followers, no noise: just your family’s moments, kept in one place.

How is this different from social media?

Nothing you share on Viniette is public. There are no followers, no likes and no strangers: only the people in your family groups see your photos, and no algorithm decides what they see first.

Why doesn’t Viniette have comments or filters?

We wanted a calm place for real moments. A photo and a few words are enough, so there is nothing to polish and no thread to keep up with.

Who can see my photos?

Only the members of the groups you share a photo with. Your photos are never public, and search engines can’t find them.

Do you show ads or sell my data?

No. There are no ads on Viniette, and we never sell your data.

Can I have different groups for different parts of my family?

Yes. You can create up to three groups, for example your own family, your in-laws or your closest friends, and share each photo with one group or several at once.

Does everyone need the app to see photos?

No. Viniette works in any web browser at app.viniette.com, on a phone or a computer.

Will my less tech-savvy relatives be able to use it?

That’s who we had in mind. Joining only takes the invitation, there is no password to remember, and the text can be made larger in the settings.
